Peace and love and... nuclear power.

The screening dates and times have just been confirmed for the participation of my doc "In the Grey Zone" (website) in the 2012 Global Peace Film Festival (September 18-23 in Orlando, Florida).

Filming "In the Grey Zone" taught me a lot, and it continues to bring me new experiences.  The Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) was the first time for one of my films to be shown in the country where I was born, the USA!

Since this is the first time one of my films has dealt so specifically with an issue of human rights, the Global Peace Film Festival (GPFF) will be the first time for one of my films to be invited to one of the many human rights-themed festivals (here).

And October will bring yet another first.  When "In the Grey Zone" screens in the Camera Japan Festival (website) in Holland, it will be the first time I will be recognized as the director of a Japanese film and have my work shown in a collection of films made solely by Japanese directors.

Roadmap to Apartheid:

330 Winter Park Plaza, Rollins College on Saturday 22nd September

Roadmap to Apartheid is a definitive documentary comparing and contrasting South African Apartheid with Israeli policies and practices. This documentary shows us why many Palestinians feel they are living in an apartheid system today and how this problem should be addressed worldwide. Acted and Directed by Anna Nogueira (former producer of "Democracy Now!") and Eron Davidson, this film looks to be worth watching. Roadmap to Apartheid will be playing in Orlando, at the Global Peace Film Festival 2012. The Global Peace Film Festival is a film festival that will be on show in Winter Park and Downtown Orlando, during the 18th -23rd September.
